India’s first boy band, A Band of Boys, has released a music video titled “Je Jaan Se” to support Anna Hazare and his anti-corruption movement. The song is a recreation of the famous Amitabh Bachchan song “Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se” from Main Azaad Hoon. The video is put together by Amar Halidpur and college students, and will be part of rallies supporting the movement.  The music video will be promoted through social networking sites and college festivals.

“The music video is specially offering from ABOB to empower masses to stand for the movement and we pray that the movement gathers enough steam to waylay the corrupt, the immoral and those who suck this country dry,” said Karan Oberoi of A Band of Boys. “It’s generally seen that the videos and songs tend to create a huge impact, so we decided to use this medium to support the movement. The song is aptly named ‘Jee Jaan Se,’ as it reflects the attitude of Anna and his supporters. “
