Recording of the Hindi Instrumental Album”NOTE WORTHY’ was completed on friday.Sir Charles’s tribute to the Hindi
film Musicians ,Composers and Singers.It has taken Sir, two years to complete it.Lack of Finance was the main Issue.As the saying goes ‘ALL good things must come to an End” this finally came to an end after sir shifted to his own recording studio at his new 27th floor Flat.Fifty of the choicest hindi melodic songs which sir has hand picked will be served to music lovers.I have been listening to all kinds of music,and those which have touched my heart ,and i’m sure will touch yours….have been recorded.Pre -bookings of this album will start from November…The Album should be launched in Dec.
Zakir Hussain and Ranjit Barot
to Collaborate on Jazz Album
Tabla maestro Zakir Hussain and talented composer Ranjit Barot will be a part of Abstract Logix’s jazz album The New Universe Music Festival 2010which is releasing on 20 September.
The album also features world-renowned artists including John McLaughlin, Jimmy Herring, Lenny White, Scott Kinsey, Matt Garrison, Arto Tunçboyaciyan, Wayne Krantz and Alex Machacek.
“The album comprises some of the popular renowned artistes and it’s going to be a totally different album, something that never experienced before”, Ranjit Barot said in a press statement. “It’s going to be a musical treat!”
The album will be released in an HD 2-disc DVD set and contains a compilation of performances featured in Abstract Logix’s music festival in addition to bonus material such as interviews, behind the scenes, and performances of artists.
Times Music to Release Kshitij Tarey’s Ae Dosheeza
Times Music soon will be releasing Kshitij Tarey’s album Ae Dosheeza. Kshitij has previously rendered several memorable compositions including “Aye Khuda”, “Madno”, “Dhol Yaara Dhol” and “Tose Naina”. His album consists of seven romantic tracks composed by Gaurav Dagaonkar with soulful lyrics by Sayeed Quadri.
“Ae Dosheeza is very special album as I have always sung Sufi songs and with this album I will be experimenting with other genres of music like pop and rock”, said Kshitij. “Even though the album has romantic songs and is based mainly on pop, it also has flavors of other sounds”.
He has been releasing his songs on his Facebook page and the songs are also available onReverbNation.com for streaming.
“The album will be available for mobile download through SMS, but it won’t be available for free download as I want listeners to buy the physical copy”, explained the talented singer.
